Ken Deary

Ken Deary FCCA, QFP has 30 years of experience in franchising, firstly as a Franchisee with McDonald’s where he won the Golden Arches Award for the top 30 McDonald’s Franchisees in the World and the prestigious BFA Franchisee of the Year. Then latterly as a Franchisor where he is Owner/Chairman of Right at Home UK who are past Gold Medal Winners of the BFA Franchisor of the Year, putting Ken in the unique position of winning the two most coveted awards in Franchising, BFA Franchisee and BFA Franchisor of the Year.

Ken is also a NED at Ableworld, who are also BFA members. Deary has sat on the Board of the BFA since 2016 and was past Chair in 2022/23, Ken also represents the BFA in Europe, sitting on the Board of the European Franchise Federation (EFF).
