Diljit Brar

As one of the UK’s largest Costa Coffee franchisees, Diljit Brar has shared his views and experience across several projects which engage the franchisee estate and current market trends. His input at the Costa Coffee Franchise Leadership Group is highly valued and has helped to shape the future of the brand and, more importantly, the franchisor-franchisee relationship.

In addition to the Costa business, Goldex is a multifaceted company which operates a variety of different franchise businesses both in the UK and internationally including Kaspa’s Desserts & Doner and Gyros. Goldex have also recently launched a number of self-branded ventures, including Goldex Fitness, Goldex Workspace and Goldex Sales and Lettings. They opened their first international Costa Coffee store in October 2022 in Marrakech, after obtaining exclusive rights to operate Costa Coffee in Morocco.

Diljit puts the ongoing success of this large multi-site franchise down to the knowledge he has gained and believes it is the team and people in the business that make it what it is. Their many achievements have been recognised with multiple awards, including ‘HSBC Best In Class Multi-Unit Leader 2021’ and – most recently – ‘European Franchisee of the Year 2022’.
