Chris Roberts
Business Consultant and Franchise Specialist, Franchise FinanceChris Roberts is an experienced and successful Business Consultant and Trainer. He is co-owner of Franchise Finance Limited, the leading provider of Finance, Business Consultancy and Finance Training to the UK Franchising industry.
Chris became an Associate of the Institute of Bankers in 1980. He had a successful and varied banking career which at managerial level saw him as a Corporate Lender, an Underwriter, also heading up the Bank’s Lending courses in London and then taking on various consultancy and ‘insolvency turn-round’ roles working with seconded accountants from the major UK accountancy firms.
He left Banking in 2000 to set up his own business consultancy and since then, has prepared many hundreds of business plans and helped Franchisees and Franchisors to raise many millions of pounds.
He is respected by and works closely with the main Franchise Banks and regularly writes and delivers seminars, workshops and a range of courses on the financial aspects of franchising, business planning and borrowing money for various companies and organisations.
Chris received the BFA’s ‘Qualified Franchise Professional’ qualification in 2012 and is now one of only two people who are authorised to deliver and award the financial part of this qualification.
