TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® gain BFA Associate Membership

A successful 2016 continues for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® as they gain further recognition achieving their upgraded British Franchise Association (bfa) Membership, and becoming Associate Members.

The company continues to expand its network with the franchisees starting operations in both South Wales and Newcastle recently. With our upgraded bfa Associate Membership we forward to expanding UK coverage nationwide.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® as a worldwide organisation, are firm believers in supporting ethical franchising through strong trade associations. The current Chair of the American parent franchise Melanie Bergeron, is also on the board of directors of the International Franchise Association (IFA) in the U.S. Melanie was Chairwoman of the IFA in 2015. Therefore, it was only natural that the UK franchise operation became members of the bfa when they started franchising in the UK.

“Continued validation of our networks systems and processes, as well as our franchisees businesses is important to us” says UK Franchisor Colm Hefferon. “Having outside eyes review our business, and to find it sufficiently robust to acknowledge our progress, is just that, validation that we are heading in the right direction.”

Not a Tick Box Exercise
Colm continues,”It is important that such assessments are not just ‘tick box’ exercises. They need to genuinely challenge the way we run and promote our business. That is why I am delighted with the award of our Associate Membership. I want to thank everyone within the network for ensuring we continue to achieve the high standards we set ourselves. We forward to continuing to progress our membership as the network grows in the UK.”
