TaxAssist team to deliver additional support to growing Australian network

TaxAssist Accountants’ newest Master Franchisees in Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory, Tricia Kingston and Steve Herlihy, are set to receive additional training and support ahead of their launch in Perth.

David Paulson, Senior Manager, Global Franchise Recruitment, and Richard Chatten, International Support Manager, from the TaxAssist Support Centre in the UK, will deliver a comprehensive programme designed to provide Tricia and Steve with a solid launchpad for their own network of specialist small business accountants.

TaxAssist provides regular on the ground support for its international master franchisees with previous visits by David and Richard being instrumental in helping to successfully establish the brand on the East Coast of Australia.

David said: “Richard and I will be in Australia from the 6th to the 20th March, continuing our training programme with Steve and Tricia, and assisting them in finding the ideal location for their first TaxAssist shop. We also plan to meet with the franchise teams from various banks, suppliers and prospective franchisees.

Richard added: “Steve and Tricia recently spent three and a half weeks with us in the UK for their initial training, and I’m keen to keep the momentum going that was built up on the course. I have every confidence in them, as we assist with their expansion plans across Western and Southern Australia and the Northern Territory.

“It’s going to be a very busy two weeks, but an essential step in giving Tricia and Steve a flying start to building their network.”

David and Richard will be hosting a Discovery Day in Perth CBD on Saturday 10th March and meeting prospective franchisees. They then fly to Sydney for the Sydney Franchising & Business Opportunities Expo, which is being held on 17th-18th March.

TaxAssist Accountants has been operating successfully in the UK for more than 20 years and has over 290 practices in the UK, 13 in Australia and 20 in the Republic of Ireland.
