Shaun the Sheep and The Creation Station Team Up
The Creation Station are delighted to have teamed up with the Intellectual Property Office and Aardman Animations – ‘Shaun ‘s Cracking Ideas Design Challenge’, to run hands on fun ‘Shaun the Sheep’ themed creative sessions during the week commencing the 4th May 2015.
The educational and fun sessions are designed to inspire children’s imaginations from aged 6 months – 11 years. The different classes and clubs will be tailored to suit the age and stage of each child. Children will be able to have a go at designing ‘a form of transport’ to help Shaun and his friends get back to the farm, along with creating their own Shaun the Sheep character.
Pre-schoolers in the Little Explorer sessions will be able to develop a range of skills including problem solving and social skills whilst exploring a variety of materials and having fun creating with a parent or carer.
Those attending Create Club or Family Fun sessions will have the chance to create their own inventions and learn about design, patents, trademarks and copyright. The babies in the Baby Discover classes will learn about textures and have fun with animal sounds.
The sessions will be packed with lots of fun creative activities to enjoy along with fun themed ideas to take home and continue the journey of learning, inspiring imaginations and nurturing each child’s creativity.
All the children have the fantastic opportunity to enter their inventions into a national competition to win a selection of brilliant prizes.
To enter simply upload an image of your creation to the Creation Station Facebook page with #CrackingIdeasCreation. Children can enter the competition even if they haven’t been able to attend the workshops. The competition closes 24th July 2015.
