Really Awesome Coffee Dunstable franchise – A family business

Paul – Really Awesome Coffee Dunstable has been with the network for almost five years and up until last year he was quite happy with his one van which he ran in and around Dunstable.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, he saw himself getting busier and busier, which led him totake on his second van closely followed by vans 3 and 4.

Recently Paul and his ever growing team decided it was time for another van but they wanted to go bigger & better than ever before! Van number five came in the form of a Mercedes Sprinter and the network’s first ice cream, coffee & waffle van combo.Paul says “The ability to offer more than just the usual coffee, cold drinks and milkshakes was a real driving factor. We wanted something that could stand out at events but also corporate events.

The van also allows 3 people to be working with a little more room which means even though we are offering more we can provide a faster service.”

This internal vending van, along with the usual espresso machine & grinder also has a soft serve ice cream machine, waffle maker and lots of space for both stock and staff – perfect for busy events.

Really Awesome Coffee – Dunstable is very much a family business with Paul’s wife, Gillian, recently joining the team along with their son, Rob and daughter, Amy too, making them a whole family of awesome baristas!

Since the launch of this flagship van, It’s been out and about no fewer than 10  times including a football tournament, a week at a university graduation event, university student arrivals  and a staff treat day at a local business with lots more events in the pipeline.

Paul’s son, Rob added “It’s a ‘small’ step up from the Vito and my dad hasn’t quite managed the reverse down our drive without a little assistance yet!”
