Proud of our ‘Great British Franchisees’

Home care franchise company, Home Instead is delighted to announce that two of their franchisees have been awarded for their excellence in the recent ‘Great British Franchisee Awards 2023’ hosted by whichfranchise.

Gavin Morrigan and Michelle Fairless, owners of Home Instead Cleveland, were recognised as exceptional franchisees by the judges, for their contribution to their local community and for the outstanding care they provide.

Suzanne Melville, Head of Marketing at whichfranchise, explains why they were so impressed, “What a great success story and blueprint for franchising!  Gavin and Michelle are everything the judges look for when awarding Great British Franchisee status. Their passion for their business and team, as well as for their customers, local community and the Home Instead network, really shone through.

“They were really impressed with how well they supported their clients during Covid in what would have been a difficult time. You can see they really love being part of Home Instead and work hard to make sure their business is a great success.”

The awards, which were launched in 2021, recognise outstanding franchisees across the UK who demonstrate excellence in all areas of their business. Factors taken into consideration include business stability, client satisfaction, community involvement and inspired leadership.

Gavin is justifiably thrilled that they have received this award and commented, “Being recognised as a Great British Franchisee is a huge honour, and wouldn’t have been possible without our incredible team, who have been instrumental in the ongoing success of Home Instead. I am extremely grateful for this opportunity and want to thank everyone for their support.”

Michelle commented: “We are absolutely thrilled to have received this award. Our journey with Home Instead started with a passion for home care, and the recognition of our work in the community and our achievements is truly amazing.”

Owning a Home Instead franchise is rewarding in so many ways and to receive awards and accolades is the icing on the cake.

Head of Franchise Development for Home Instead, Imogen Clarke commented: “Gavin and Michelle joined Home Instead in 2014 and I have been so pleased to watch them grow their business over the years. Their passion and commitment have not only encouraged their own team, they have also made such a positive impact on the franchise network as a whole. Huge well done.”
