Long-term ambition fulfilled with franchise business

Chris Cox had tried a couple of different career paths before he decided it was time to pursue his dream of being his own boss.

Chris started researching ways he could start up and run his own business. Realising that investing in a franchise could help him fulfil his ambition, Chris attended one of The National Franchise Exhibitions.

Chris felt that a franchise with Zero Dry Time offered him the chance to enter an untapped market in his area. Being able to spend time at the event with founder David Muirhead and existing franchisees convinced Chris it was the business for him and he opened his franchise a few months later.

Chris has certainly found success with his Dudley-based franchise, winning an award for ‘Best Newcomer of the Year’ from Zero Dry Time.

His candid advice to anyone wondering if investing in a franchise is right for them is: “Book yourself a ticket to The Franchise Exhibitions. You need to meet with a variety of brands to get a full understanding of what they offer and which would best suit your way of working, skillset and interests.”
