Home Instead is shortlisted for 4 national care awards

As well as leading the way in franchising, Home Instead is proud to lead the way in home care. Their unique partnership programme, high quality of care and management expertise have led to the leading home care franchise being shortlisted in four categories across two major care industry awards.

In the ‘Oscars’ of the care sector, the Laing Buisson Awards, Home Instead has been named as a finalist in both the ‘homecare’ and ‘management excellence’ categories. The homecare category celebrates excellence in the provision of care in a home care setting with a focus on innovation, while the management excellence category focuses on their development as a successful business.

Home Instead also have two nominations in the Home Care Insight ‘Leaders in Care’ Awards in ‘Home Care Provider of the Year’ and ‘Business Initiative of the Year’.

The first category praised the company’s care delivery despite the uncertainties of the pandemic, in particular highlighting our live-in care services and specialist training for caregivers to carry out clinical procedures.

It also praised the caregiver support that Home Instead offer through our Employee Assistance Programme and their work to raise awareness of the job opportunities working in care.

In the second category, Home Instead’s partnerships programme, headed up by Sarah Williamson was praised for connecting the company with leading industry experts to help enhance their care even further.

Home Instead’s partnership with Parkinson’s UK, for example, has not only given their caregivers access to specialist training to help care for people living with the condition, but also enabled Parkinson’s UK to have a unique insight into home care.

Another link-up with Barclays Digital Eagles has given Home Instead’s care teams access to digital training which they pass onto clients, and a partnership with Boots UK has seen them become the first home care company to be listed in the Boots Health Hub.

Speaking about the shortlisted awards, CEO of Home Instead, Martin Jones said: “The home care market has been through an incredible amount of change recently and we’re proud to have overcome many challenges faced in the sector.

“To be shortlisted in not just one but four award categories really is testament to the importance we place on innovation; always striving to deliver better home care through new technology, effective partners and the very best workforce.”

Home Instead franchisees benefit from their award-winning support and the company’s reputation of quality care services when joining the network. Launching a home care business with Home Instead means people can benefit from our established reputation and our ongoing developments which ensure we continue to offer industry-leading care to our clients across the country.
