Franchise Marketing Awards: Dream Doors Finalists for 25th Time

Kitchen makeover franchise, Dream Doors, has made the finals of the Franchise Marketing Awards (FMAs) for the ninth year in succession. Already seven-time winners, and finalists a record 25 times, the company has been shortlisted for this year’s ‘Best Franchisee Marketing Support’ award – a trophy it won back in 2011.

The Franchise Marketing Awards are open for any franchised business to enter. This year Dream Doors is a finalist amongst international household names like Subway and Papa Johns. The winners will be announced at the British and International Franchise Exhibition at London’s Olympia on Friday 13th March, where Dream Doors can be found on stand H01.

Founder and managing director, Troy Tappenden, who sold the company’s first kitchen facelift more than 15 years ago, is hoping to add to his trophy haul this weekend. “An eighth win would be great, but I’m just pleased to see our name in the mix again,” he says. “No other brand in the UK has been up for as many awards as Dream Doors. And, for me, that is just reward for all the efforts we put in to helping our franchisees succeed.

“Most Dream Doors franchisees don’t have any experience of running a business before joining us. And they certainly haven’t been exposed to the kitchen industry before,” he adds. “It is our duty of care to help them coordinate effective marketing campaigns that deliver quality enquiries and, ultimately, more sales.

That is why we have invested so heavily in marketing support over the years. In fact, since we entered this year’s awards, we have recruited two new marketing executives to provide even more support for our franchisees. So we’ll definitely be entering the FMAs again next year!
