Franchise company Puddle Ducks finalist for top award
he team at franchise company Puddle Ducks, which specialises in providing swimming lessons for babies and children, are delighted to be a finalist for the 2016 EWIF (Encouraging Women into Franchising) Franchisor of the Year Award.
The EWIF awards sponsored by NatWest are designed to recognise and celebrate the achievements of women throughout the franchise industry and help them come together to recognise each other’s successes.
Puddle Ducks which has its head office in Cheshire was founded by ‘mumpreneurs’ Tracy Townend and Jo Stone. After meeting at an ante-natal class, they became friends and realised they had both complementary business skills and a shared a passion for passing the joy of swimming onto small babies, children and mums to be.
The business has since gone from strength to strength and now teaches over 17,000 customers every week and has 33 franchisees across the UK.
They are justifiably very proud, Tracy commented, “We’re absolutely delighted to be a finalist for these awards. We started the business because we wanted to share our passion and joy of swimming with babies and young children, and these are particularly exciting times for us. To be acknowledged for the work we do is wonderful and we enjoy every minute.
She continued, ”We would like to thank everyone at EWIF, at Duck HQ and of course all our franchisees. We are all looking forward to the awards ceremony in London on Tuesday 24th May.”
If you would like to learn more about becoming a Puddle Ducks franchisee you can join them at one of their Discovery Days, the next one is on Friday 10th June 2016.
