Forward-thinking Harry’s hits 90!
Harry Ramsden is celebrating its 90th year and National Fish and Chip Day (1 June 2018) by unleashing its biggest consumer promotion in decades and to add extra cheer to the double celebration, the brand is officially opening its next chapter outlet in WestQuay, Southampton.
Long associated with the seaside, Harry’s provenance is very much on show at its “new-look next chapter” outlet in WestQuay. In a natural progression for the brand, the Southampton outlet is awash with ocean and aquamarine blues and rich shrimp pinks colour schemes, reflecting Harry’s seaside heritage. Its most famous dish, Fish and Chips, is celebrated with a fun, tongue in cheek colour scheme which includes ketchup red, pea greens and chip golds!
As Britain’s longest established restaurant chain, Harry Ramsden’s has been serving the highest quality fish and chips to generations of families so building on this success, the brand will mark National Fish and Chip Day with a weeklong, nationwide customer treat of almost £20,000 of free fish and chips up for grabs over the next 7 days for guests served with a bespoke Golden Fork!
Tom Crowley, CEO of Harry Ramsden notes; “90 years is a landmark few companies reach, so we see it as a cause for celebration. We are looking forward to the ongoing evolution of the brand and are excited to open the next chapter of what is clearly a national love affair with Britain’s longest established restaurant brand.”
