First franchisee commits to 10 more years of ‘carer-centric’ service with Visiting Angels

After joining Visiting Angels as its inaugural UK franchisee in 2019, Gareth Redmayne is achieving another first by becoming the first to renew his franchise agreement. This momentous milestone for the brand maintains Gareth’s leadership at Visiting Angels South Hertfordshire for the next 10 years and solidifies Visiting Angels as a leader in the care industry.

“Visiting Angels’ carer-centric approach is what initially drew me to invest in the brand five years ago and, since then, our team has remained steadfast advocates for these values,” said Gareth.

“Renewing my agreement was an obvious choice to ensure that the people of South Hertfordshire continue to benefit from Visiting Angels’ distinctive approach to in-home care.”

Since Gareth first signed on the dotted line five years ago after spending two decades in the NHS and as a global healthcare consultant, Visiting Angels has undergone remarkable growth – expanding from a single office to an impressive network of nearly 70 locations. His decision to renew his agreement serves as a testament to his unwavering dedication to the brand’s overarching mission – to redefine the role of carers in society.

“Gareth has been a wonderful advocate for everything that we are trying to achieve as a business,” said Dan Archer, UK CEO of Visiting Angels. “In committing his next 10 years to our mission, Gareth remains as focused on carer-centricity and as enthusiastic for the brand as he was on day one.”

To mark the occasion, Gareth and Dan raised a glass of bubbly and enjoyed a celebratory lunch together. During their meal, Gareth presented Dan with Visiting Angels cufflinks inscribed with a message expressing gratitude for his support over the years and toasting to the next decade of partnership.

“I’m incredibly grateful for the faith that earlier adopters of our brand, such as Gareth, have shown in our vision,” explained Dan. “The backbone of our network is undeniably the passion for change that each franchisee embodies. As I expressed to Gareth during our lunch, I extend my heartfelt appreciation for his dedication, belief, energy and drive throughout the past five years. I can only echo Gareth’s sentiment – here’s to the next 10 years!”
