d&t Named as Platinum Sponsor for bfa Conference 2019

Multi-award-winning chartered accountants and financial services organisation, d&t, has been named as the platinum sponsor of the British Franchise Association’s (bfa) Conference to be held on 27 and 28 June at the Vox Conference Centre, Birmingham.

This year, the bfa has redesigned its conference programme to make it more engaging to maximise the value to franchise businesses. With more expert speakers than ever before, as well as interactive franchising panels, plus educational workshops to prepare business for the next generation in franchising, the focus will be on culture, technology and change management.

Dave Galvin QFP, managing director of d&t, confirms: “This year, d&t is celebrating 15 years as the leaders in business optimisation and accountancy services specialising in the franchising industry, so being lead sponsor for the prestigious bfa conference this year is the perfect way to mark this milestone. Working with the bfa, we will aim to highlight that we are ‘more than just accountants’. From independent funding sourcing to business planning, identifying new income streams to driving franchisee development and exit planning, our handpicked team of advisors each have a senior professional background and wealth of industry experience to help our clients proactively grow their businesses.

“At the conference the d&t team will be on hand to discuss how we can help grow your business plus Craig Brown QFP, business advisor at d&t, and James Thomas, QFP, commercial manager, will be presenting on franchise re-sales, growing your business and helping franchisees succeed. We will also be having fun giving away #LoveFranchising reusable bags, squishy hearts and a couple of money trees to inspire people to get planting seeds for the future!”

Pip Wilkins, CEO, bfa confirms: “This is a major event on the franchising calendar and the support of d&t as a platinum sponsor is truly appreciated. d&t is a valued member of the bfa and we hope to work together for a long time to come.”

Dave Galvin concludes: “This year’s bfa conference promises to be an unmissable event featuring engaging keynote speakers and a comprehensive educational programme. We look forward to meeting contacts old and new and introducing our full range of services through our Platinum sponsorship of the event.”

d&t is also a sponsor of the bfa’s Superbrands event to be held in May 2019.
