CareYourWay Norwich Celebrates Grand Opening with a Heartfelt Community Event

On Thursday, 16th January, CareYourWay Norwich proudly opened its doors with a heartwarming grand opening event, welcoming members of the local community to celebrate the arrival of its award-winning care services. The day was a joyful and inspiring occasion, filled with music, laughter, and a shared commitment to making a real difference in the lives of people in and around Norwich.

Hosted by Sue Fear, Managing Director of CareYourWay Norwich, the event reflected the organisation’s deeply rooted passion for providing personalised, compassionate care that helps individuals thrive at home while maintaining their independence and dignity.

A day of inspiration and togetherness

Guests were greeted with a lively and welcoming atmosphere, featuring live music, delicious refreshments, dancing, and a wonderful raffle in support of the Priscilla Bacon Lodge Hospice. The event was a celebration of community, care, and connection, bringing people together to share in CareYourWay’s vision for a brighter future in home care.

The celebration was made even more special by the presence of Sarah Sabater, CareYourWay’s CEO and Co-Founder, who shared the heartfelt story behind the brand’s journey. Since its beginnings in 2005, CareYourWay has been dedicated to providing exceptional, person-centred care, empowering individuals to remain in the comfort of their own homes surrounded by the people and memories they cherish most. Sarah’s words resonated with the audience, highlighting the profound impact that compassionate care can have on individuals and their families.

The day also featured an inspiring speech from a representative of the Priscilla Bacon Lodge Hospice, who highlighted the hospice’s vital work and expressed excitement about growing a closely working partnership with CareYourWay Norwich this year. Together, the two organisations will collaborate on impactful initiatives, including the ‘Present for a Pensioner’ campaign, which brings festive cheer to those who might otherwise spend Christmas alone. This growing partnership reflects a shared commitment to making a meaningful difference in the local community.

Sue Fear: A lifelong passion for caring

For Sue Fear, the event marked the fulfilment of a lifelong dream. From an early age, Sue aspired to a career dedicated to caring for others, leading her to qualify as a Registered General Nurse. Over the years, she gained a wealth of experience in Acute Medicine, Surgery, Neonatology, and Elderly Care, later contributing to the development of innovative treatments in the pharmaceutical industry.

Sue’s passion for person-centred care became even more personal when she experienced the challenge of finding quality care for her own ageing parents. This inspired her to create a service that prioritises dignity, respect, and the unique needs of every individual.

Speaking at the event, Sue said:

“I feel so privileged to provide exceptional care to clients in their own homes. Being cared for in a familiar setting, surrounded by loved ones, pets, and memories, can have a positive impact on a person’s well-being. I am also committed to raising awareness and recognition for the incredible work of our carers, who make a difference every day.”

A celebration of care and community

The grand opening event not only celebrated the launch of CareYourWay Norwich but also brought people together in a shared vision of compassion and kindness. Guests had the opportunity to meet the dedicated team and learn about the bespoke care services now available in Norwich, designed to make a genuine difference in the lives of those they support.

The partnership with the Priscilla Bacon Lodge Hospice and the proceeds from the day’s raffle reflected CareYourWay’s commitment to giving back to the community. This is just the beginning of what promises to be a meaningful collaboration, focused on supporting individuals and families when they need it most.

Transforming lives, one person at a time

With the launch of CareYourWay Norwich, Sue Fear and her team are ready to provide outstanding quality, compassionate care to those who need it most. By helping people remain at home, surrounded by the things they love, CareYourWay is dedicated to improving lives and bringing hope to the community.
