CareYourWay East Lancashire: A Grand Opening Week Full of Impact and Community Spirit

It has been an extraordinary week for CareYourWay East Lancashire, marked by the excitement of launching their new office in Blackburn and a meaningful campaign to support the community. With their unwavering focus on making a difference, the team has left an indelible mark during their grand opening celebrations and through their work with the “Present for a Pensioner” initiative.

A grand opening to remember

On Wednesday, December 11th, CareYourWay officially opened its new office in Blackburn with an event that showcased both celebration and purpose. The office launch drew special guests, including CareYourWay’s CEO and co-founder, Sarah Sabater, and the Mayor of Blackburn, who joined to commemorate this significant milestone.

The day’s festivities included speeches that reflected on CareYourWay’s 19-year legacy of delivering an exceptional service and their mission to transform lives through outstanding care, one home, one family, and one person at a time. Guests were treated to a heartfelt performance by local students from X Primary School and had the opportunity to meet the dedicated team behind CareYourWay East Lancashire.

Local businesses, in a remarkable show of community support, also played a vital role in making the event a success, aligning with the company’s goal of building stronger communities.

Making a difference with “Present for a Pensioner”

As part of their launch week, the CareYourWay team turned their attention to supporting “Present for a Pensioner,” a campaign that aims to spread joy and provide essential items to elderly individuals who might otherwise feel forgotten during the festive season.

The team’s efforts at the Hill Street Tesco in Blackburn served as a focal point for raising awareness and gathering donations for this inspiring initiative. Managing Directors, Registered Manager, Jeannette, and other supporters rallied together to encourage local shoppers to contribute. The incredible result of the kind generosity of local individuals was four trolleys filled to the brim with donated goods.

Among the many acts of kindness, one local resident’s contribution stood out; a £50 donation of items that were chosen with the help of Director Callum, who personally helped shop these items, ensuring that every gift was thoughtful and meaningful, whilst getting to know this amazing local individual.

The “Present for a Pensioner” campaign is an essential initiative designed to bring hope and comfort to seniors who may be living alone, facing financial challenges, or enduring difficult times. The team is now calling on the community to nominate individuals who would benefit most from a gift hamper, reminding everyone that these members of society are valued and cherished.

A future grounded in care and compassion

This memorable week encapsulates everything CareYourWay East Lancashire stands for: delivering personalized care that empowers individuals to thrive in their own homes, while also nurturing a culture of compassion and connection within the community.

Looking ahead, the team is eager to continue making a difference, whether through their day-to-day services or through initiatives like “Present for a Pensioner.” By working together, CareYourWay and the local community can ensure that no one feels forgotten this festive season.
