Bluebird Care franchises praised for high quality of Adult Social Care Services
Two franchises of the leading home care provider scored highly on the Provider Assessment and Market Management Solution (PAMMS) system
Watford-based home care providers Bluebird Care Watford & Three Rivers and Bluebird Care Chiltern & Dacorum both received ‘Excellent’ and ‘Good’ scores for the care they have provided to their customers, based on PAMMS.
PAMMS is a digital eco-system for social care, initially developed with the Association of Directors of Social Services East to support commissioners with their duty of care. Along with the Care Quality Commission’s (CQC) health and social care service assessment, a positive audit using the PAMMS tool is considered to be a prominent benchmark for quality assurance.
The rating is compiled through assessments in two overall areas: Domains and Standards. Out of the five criteria in Domains, Bluebird Care Chiltern & Dacorum received an ‘Excellent’ rating for quality of management with a ‘Good’ rating across all other areas. PAMMS also rated the franchise ‘Good’ across the board for their standards, with an ‘Excellent’ rating in assessing and monitoring the quality-of-service provision and using information and dealing with complaints.
Bluebird Care Watford & Three Rivers received an ‘Excellent’ rating for personalised care and support and quality of management, and a ‘Good’ rating for involvement and information, safeguarding and safety and suitability of staff. They also obtained a ‘Good’ rating across the board for standards and an ‘Excellent’ rating in co-operation with other providers and assessing and monitoring the quality-of-service provision.

Susan Jones, Sandra Hennessey and Hayley Plaster from Bluebird Care Watford & Three Rivers received their overall ‘Excellent’ certification, whereas Hayley Plaster, Becky Hennessey and Jodie Stanley were the recipients of their franchise’s overall ‘Good’ score.
