Bio-Rite Joins the National Care Association

Leading infection control company and franchisor, Bio-Rite has announced it has joined the National Care Association.  Focused on maintaining close links with local care associations the National Care Association Board keeps in-touch with grassroots issues so it can approach Government and its various ministers and departments. As a result, the National Care Association is involved in most aspects of policy development relating to social care provision.

“Infection control is an ongoing issue within our hospitals and care homes,” confirms Alan Wright, managing director of Bio-Rite Ltd.  “The threat from common pathogens such as MRSA, C.Difficile or Norovirus continues to pose a risk, particularly to the elderly who are among some of our most vulnerable patients and we need to take steps to protect them.

By joining the National Care Association we can offer our expertise based on many years’ experience in decontamination and infection control,”

“It continues to be a concern that many institutions simply ‘wipe over’ used care equipment, however, this is not a sufficient procedure to control most pathogens effectively,” confirms Wright.  “Bio-Rite is one of the few companies in the UK that is able to offer a leading-edge range of solutions and services to ensure an infection-free healthcare environment for the benefit of patients.  We are looking forward to sharing our knowledge and working with the National Care Association and its associates to help contribute to solving the challenges of effective infection control in care homes across the UK.”

As a group, Bio-Rite has over 40 years’ experience in decontamination and infection control management.   Bio-Rite is a British Franchise Association (bfa) Provisional Member and staff and franchisees are also members of the Infection Prevention Society (IPS).  Bio-Rite is currently recruiting for franchisees to extend the reach of its services more widely across the UK.
