The bfa is excited to announce that they will be hosting the one day ‘Leadership in Action’ Virtual Conference, on June 24th, 2021. The agenda is packed full of essential breakout sessions, insightful and inspiring key-note speakers, as well as meaningful panel discussions. Experienced Industry Professionals will be drawing on, and sharing, their experiences of navigating the difficult challenges that we all face as leaders.

Best-in-class keynotes highlight different elements of leadership from some of the very greatest in their fields:

Steve Backley and Roger Black – Two of Great Britain’s finest Olympic athletes, Steve Backley and Roger Black, combine their experience to enable individuals and organisations to gain knowledge of what drives success, translating their sporting excellence into real life, and day-to-day activities that can be acquired by anyone with the will to commit.

Scott Greenberg – For more than ten years, Scott ran a thriving multi-unit Edible Arrangements franchise enterprise that won the “Best Customer Service” and “Manager of the Year” awards out of more than 1000 locations worldwide. Scott specializes in the human elements of franchise operations that include franchisee mindset and brand culture, employee management and coaching, and customer experience and retention.

Sabrina Cohen-Hatton – Sabrina Cohen-Hatton is one of the few women to have served at the top of the fire service. She combines her role as one of the most senior female firefighters in the UK with work as a Research Fellow at Cardiff University where she specialises in behavioural neuroscience, in particular how humans make decisions under pressure. An Ambassador for The Big Issue, Sabrina has been named as one of their top 100 Changemakers, Marie Claire also named her as one of their Change Makers and Cosmopolitan listed her in their Millennial Power List.

The event is open to experienced and aspiring leaders from across the entire franchise community Worldwide.  It will surely be an unmissable date in the calendar and promises huge value for all who attend.
