Award winning recruitment franchise
AWARD WINNING RECRUITMENT FRANCHISE ADDS NEW SERVICE
Sue and Vance Parsons, owners of the Driver Hire franchise for Hereford & Worcester, have enjoyed a phenomenal start since buying the business in 2013. They’ve increased turnover by over 900% and could be heading for £1m by the end of the current financial year.
Their next challenge is to keep the momentum going. And that’s where being part of one of the UK’s leading franchise networks has helped them. “We’ve added one of Driver Hire’s sister brands to the services we offer – dh Recruitment Services,” says Vance Parsons.
dh Recruitment Services supplies temp, temp-to-perm and permanent non-driving staff to industrial and commercial customers as well as the logistics industry, which clearly opens up new potential markets for them.
“Driver Hire is best known as the ‘go to’ agency for all types of professional drivers and logistics staff. We help when customers need extra staff to deal with holidays, illness or business expansion,” Vance continues. “Adding dh Recruitment Services means we can help customers old and new with much more than just drivers.”
Since buying the business in 2013, owners Sue and Vance Parsons have enjoyed a rich vein of success. At around halfway point in the current financial year, Vance and Sue’s business is already 22% up on same time last year, and are on course for another record trading performance. Their achievements have been marked at a national level; winners of the 2014 business Start-ups ‘Franchisee of the Year’ award.
“Our core recruitment business continues to go from strength to strength, but we needed to add more,” says Vance Parsons. “Our customers clearly like what we do and to expand further we’ve identified a new market for our round the clock award-winning recruitment brand. Because Driver Hire had already established the brand, all the marketing materials, business software and processes were to hand. If we were a standalone business we’d have had to develop this ourselves at a great expense in terms of both time and money.”
