  • Anytime Fitness recognise they need to look after their members and saving them money is a great way of showing they care

November 2019 – Anytime Fitness, has announced its partnership with epoints. The scheme is being rolled out across their 165 UK Anytime Fitness gyms with the aim of improving member satisfaction and loyalty among their 178,000 members and counting.

Gabby Macis, national account & partnership manager at Anytime Fitness, said: “Our members are what we come to work for. We believe that doing right by them is what matters and that isn’t restricted to our core business. If we can find innovative ways of making a difference in their lives then we take them.”

Epoints enables companies to reward their members with access to what would otherwise be a paid-for membership to the exclusive shopping platform, primarily used in major employers such as BUPA as an employee benefit.

In the Employer market Managers can send digital ecards to individuals or departments and can attach the epoints currency to ecards as a reward. epoints can be spent on the widest range of products and experiences in the epoints shop saving employees time and money (minimum 10% lower priced across trusted online retailers).

Through the partnership, each member of Anytime Fitness will be given a free membership to epoints, the shopping platform which offers exclusively lower prices at trusted retailers as well as the ability to collect epoints in a similar way that cashback websites operate. With epoints, members not only enjoy the extra 10% discount on their online shopping at retailers such as John Lewis, Debenhams, Curry’s, Argos, B&Q, Amazon and many more but can also ‘gift’ epoints to friends and family for important occasions such as Birthdays and Christmas.

Gabby Macis, national account & partnership manager at Anytime Fitness, said: “Epoints’s is such a compelling proposition to our members. To save extra every time they shop online is a great benefit and something our competitors aren’t doing. It also gives us great insight into what appeals to our members which helps shape our marketing and inform other partnerships. In today’s competitive, fast-changing climate companies can’t afford to be complacent when it comes to member loyalty.”

Matt Norbury, CEO and Founder of Epoints, said: “We are getting lots of traction with epoints, having now issued our 500 millionth point. A recent study by leading research company Global Data said that over the next 5 years epoints will reach 76% of the UK shopping population. We have lots more innovative stuff coming up for epoints members which will continue to benefit both Employers, Membership organisations and retailers.”

Matt concludes: “Working with Anytime Fitness is a fantastic opportunity and one we really look forward to developing. I know that Anytime Fitness prides itself on the excellent levels of service it provides and to do so needs to continue going the extra mile for members. We are thrilled to be working in partnership with Anytime Fitness and look forward to developing our relationship with them further.
