Anytime Fitness & Home Instead partner up to support carers’ health and wellbeing

Two of the UK’s largest franchises, Anytime Fitness UK and Home Instead, have partnered up to provide free gym access to carers throughout June.

Anytime Fitness, which has over 185 franchised health clubs across the UK and Ireland, is opening its doors throughout June to provide free seven-day gym passes to over 10,000 Home Instead Care Professionals.

Care Professionals can visit their local Anytime Fitness at their convenience until the end of the month, as well as enjoying a free well-being appointment with an expert Anytime Fitness coach. These well-being appointments will give Care Professionals an opportunity to discuss their health and wellbeing challenges and goals, and to receive advice and guidance.

“Home Instead’s Care Professionals continue to do an incredible job of caring for others and we wanted to provide an opportunity which helps them care for themselves,” said Neil Randall, CEO of Anytime Fitness UK.

“Caring in any capacity is an all-encompassing job and we imagine they struggle to find the time to prioritise their own health and wellbeing and we hope to be able to give them a helping hand. Our friendly teams will be available to discuss their current well-being and future health goals. There’s been some amazing collaboration and solidarity among the franchise sector in the past few years and we’re excited to be working together with Home Instead.”

Home Instead has been providing care support in the UK since 2005 and specialises in providing care and companionship in the home for older people. With its Care Professionals continuing to work in challenging circumstances, the free gym access will give them the opportunity to take the time to look after their own health and well-being around their lifestyle.

Sarah Williamson, Head of Corporate Sales and Partnerships at Home Instead, said: “Our Care Professionals truly sit at the heart of our business so we‘re thrilled to partner with Anytime Fitness to offer this benefit to them. It’s just one of the ways we offer additional health and wellbeing support to our Care Professionals so in turn, they feel empowered to care for our clients.”
