A collaboration with heart: Tezlom and Diddi Dance Delight Southport care home residents
Tezlom, a leading healthcare recruitment franchise, and Diddi Dance, the vibrant preschool dance franchise, have joined forces to give back to the community. In a heartwarming collaboration, they organised a special dance event for the residents of Connell Court, a Southport care home, one of Tezlom’s valued clients.
Tezlom, known for its commitment to providing outstanding healthcare staffing solutions, sought a unique way to express gratitude to its Southport clients. Partnering with Diddi Dance and their local franchisee, Naomi, they orchestrated a day filled with music, movement, and intergenerational joy.
The event featured children from Diddi Dance putting on a lively dance show, engaging the residents in a series of playful activities.
The room came alive with singing, dancing, and interactive fun as the young dancers invited the residents to join in with hula hoops, ribbons, and shakers. This initiative highlighted the therapeutic benefits of physical activity and social interaction.
Laughter and smiles filled the room, with residents reminiscing about their dancing days and sharing childhood stories. The event beautifully demonstrated the power of dance to bridge generational divides, creating moments of shared happiness and community connection.
“Today was a testament to the wonderful things that happen when franchises come together to support our community,” said Ryan Armitage, Director of Tezlom. “We are delighted to partner with Diddi Dance and Naomi to bring such joy to the residents of Connell Court.’
Anne Marie, Founder of Diddi Dance added, “We are really passionate about intergenerational sessions, so collaborating with Tezlom makes sense. The marriage of ethos, hard work, and drive between our brands – it’s such a rewarding feeling and the benefit both physically and mentally for residents and the children is profound.’
The staff and residents of the Southport care home were equally thrilled with the day’s festivities as the children brought so much energy and delight into the home. It was a day that both the residents and children will cherish for a long time.
