Sagar & Rinu Shah: Canopy Wembley Park
Originally from Kenya, Sagar and Rinu moved to the UK in 2000 and progressed their careers in compliance management and banking and finance respectively.
“Our research into the world of franchising had already identified Sarah’s team as one that we wanted to work with so when we heard that they were launching the Canopy Nursery franchise, we didn’t hesitate to get back in touch and are thrilled to become the first Canopy franchisees opening the first Canopy Children’s Nursery.

Having always dreamt of starting her own business, Rinu set herself the goal of achieving this by the age of 40. As this milestone approached, she found that in addition to her young daughter, she had twins on the way!
This necessitated a slight delay in her plans but Rinu succeeded in achieving her objective in 2018 when she started her own Kumon franchise in Northwood, a venture which she continues to enjoy. Influenced by their experience with Kumon and raising their own children, Sagar and Rinu have developed a keen interest in child development and decided that their ultimate dream was to set up their own nursery.
