Buy & Bite is a London-based restaurant business that’s now ready to expand by franchising and to share its passion for sumptuous food from the Far East that really tickles the taste buds.
We have created a highly successful quick-service restaurant format, based on a menu that is focused on a select range of highly popular dishes originating from Japan, China and Korea; rice bowls, noodle bowls, bao buns and our signature dish, omurice. These local dishes are quick to prepare, using traditional cooking techniques, are packed with flavour and very nutritious - using fish, chicken and vegetables in abundance and containing low levels of sugar and colourants. Food is cooked to order and served within minutes, for eat-in, take away or delivery.
Building on the considerable success of our restaurants in London we are now ready to expand coverage across the UK. Working in conjunction with franchising specialists we have developed a robust franchise package and now invite applications from those keen to own a successful quick-service restaurant business to join our network of foundation franchisees.
An appealing business that’s in demand
The UK has been in love with Asian food for years, with Chinese restaurants springing up in high streets across the country from the mid-70s.
Now, as we’ve ventured into other countries in the Far East, our taste buds have been awakened to an exotic range of different foods, all bursting with spicy flavour. So, demand for Asian food is buoyant and is expected to continue remaining strong.
Buy & Bite is ideally positioned to tap into this demand.
We have designed our business systems to ensure maximum efficiency. Our EPOS system is highly automated, allowing in-store customers use of counter-mounted screens to place orders.
Cooking processes are fine-tuned to permit a quick turnaround of orders and as a result staffing can be maintained at minimum levels, making the business very cost-efficient and profitable.
The franchise opportunity
We aim to assist our franchisees with developing their business through comprehensive initial and ongoing training and by being constantly available to offer guidance and support. This will start from the point of deciding that Buy & Bite is the right franchise. Our pre-opening programme will help with site selection and premises fit-out.
An extensive 4-week training programme has been designed to ensure franchisees are equipped to effectively operate their restaurant. Ongoing support will assist franchisees to effectively apply their management skills to run a highly efficient restaurant business capable of consistently building its sales and profitability. Key to this will be:
• The supply of key ingredients from our central kitchen
• Continual business mentoring
• Regular performance reviews and advice
• Website management
• Fully automated administrative system, based on a fully integrated EPOS
• Access to key suppliers offering preferential terms
• Marketing support – social media, digital, brand building
• Membership and customer loyalty schemes
To launch each franchised restaurant, an intensive marketing campaign will be organised to help get the business off to the best possible start. This will comprise a mix of digital marketing and social media activity, plus traditional promotional techniques such as leafleting and sampling.
Requirements
Buy & Bite is a management franchise. We are therefore seeking franchisees with the drive and determination to maximise the potential of a restaurant business comprising multiple outlets. This will require franchise owners to possess proven commercial expertise to effectively manage all aspects of the restaurant, applying the training we provide.
