New Dress Range is Entirely Fitting

The tailored dress and jacket combination pioneered by Coco Chanel and worn so beautifully in the 1960s by Jackie Onassis is back on top in the power dressing stakes according to tailoring franchise Suit the City. In response to client demand, the company has introduced a classic shift dress to its range of high quality made-to-measure business and weekend attire.

The made-to-measure clothing franchise, which dresses a core clientele of professional men and women, has just scheduled an in-company event focussing on shift dresses for the female partners of a national solicitors firm.

The halo effect from introducing the new product is a great opportunity for franchisees, says Carol Rawson, Director at Suit the City:

“The demand for a unique look and high quality means that made-to-measure clothing sales are on the increase. The best way for a franchise’s sales to flourish is through referrals and recommendations in the business environment, we find that once we have dressed one or two members of the team beautifully, others are keen to match up to the higher standard”.

Two of Suit the City’s franchisees have recently undergone training to offer women’s wear ranges to their clients and reported positive feedback.

“For our franchisees, meeting the needs of professional women in terms of the highest quality of products and service means being able to grow a successful business. Once a customer has found ‘the look’ for them, many will return to buy every season, becoming regular visitors to the studio, in addition, they often recommend the service to colleagues”.

With a wide range of over 3,000 fabrics and many colours on offer, customers can order multiple versions of the dress without the usual fuss. As once measured, customers’ details stay on file so franchisees don’t need to repeatedly measure the client, but can simply sell them additional items or even take orders by phone or email.”
