A fresh approach to Care

Home Care Preferred is more than just a regular care agency. Established in 2012, the company leads with a new concept in care. The unique model includes high street premises that provide a one stop shop for care.

Walk into a Home Care Preferred shop and you will receive a friendly welcome and expert, unbiased advice about independent living equipment and other care related matters. You can also buy a range of aids from the shop, this can be anything from comfort fit shoes to wheelchairs or bathing aids. With a catalogue of over 6,000 products, the shop provides an exhaustive list of various equipment that help individuals to lead a safe and independent life at home.

The Home Care Preferred care agency is also contained within the same premises. Registered with CQC, the agency provides services to anyone above the age of 18. These include everything from companionship and home help to more complex dementia care, care for clients with learning disabilities or end-of-life care. The 24- hour live-in care is an extremely successful part of the Home Care Preferred offering and is a real alternative to life in a residential care home.  In addition, a specialised Brain Injury service has been developed.

Managing Director & founder, Ken Waterhouse, who is at the helm of this exciting new approach to care, said: ‘The care agency and the retail offering have both seen financial success since we opened our first branch in Winchmore Hill, North London. The level of demand and fantastic feedback about our model inspired us to franchise the business.  We are excited to announce that franchise opportunities are now available across the UK.’
