What’s it all for?

What’s it all for? Something you should be clear about from right at the start of your business is ‘WHY’ you’re starting it in the first place? What is your real purpose in starting, building and running that business?

Are you looking to produce an income? Or, are you going further and looking to build an asset for future sale or to pass on to family?

Whatever your reason is, the really important thing is to ‘know’ the why. Be honest with yourself and really understand your reason for starting the business.

The ‘Why’ is your motivation, something you can fall back on to help you stay focussed when things are tough and to ensure that you will always be building towards that ultimate goal.

At TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® we encourage all of our prospective franchise owners to build this purpose into their business plans, and if they join us, we encourage them to revisit it regularly to keep their focus.

One of the many benefits of building a business asset is the ability to ‘cash in’ at some point in the future. Good franchise networks help their franchisees consider the longer game- and focus on their ultimate exit from the business right from the start.

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® business development managers are in regular contact with our franchise owners to help them to build and develop their businesses. Regularly focussing on your longer term goals, also ensure that you are likely to meet your shorter term growth targets, and your business is going to be structured and presented in best light if and when you are ready exit the business and move on.
