The Great British Care Awards 2013 – The Home Care Registered Manager Award: In 2013, Nav Dhar was a finalist for the care manager award which celebrates exceptional skills in managing the complex business of providing support and care in people’s own homes.

Enfield Enterprise Business Awards 2013 – Best Retailer: We were pleased to be nominated for the Enterprise Enfield Business Awards for Best Retailer.

The EN Magazine 2014 Business Awards – Favourite Local Health Service: These awards give the readers of EN Magazine the opportunity to show their support for local businesses and share their favourite businesses with other readers. Home Care Preferred are pleased to have been the runners up for the favourite local health service.

Enterprise Enfield Business Awards 2014 – Best Retailer: We were thrilled with the results on Wednesday 3rd December 15th 2014 when we attended Enterprise Enfield Business Awards at The Royal Chase Hotel. We won the award for Best Retailer and were presented with the award and £1,000 prize money.

The Great British Care Awards 2014:

These prestigious awards recognise not only our high standards of quality care in the home, but the innovation and expertise in developing care services that help improve the care sector.

The Great British Care Awards value some of the best people in the care profession and we were delighted to be among these people. The awards recognise and demonstrate the commitment of care employers to develop a high calibre workforce and the dedication of care staff to providing quality care.

The Care Newcomer Award: Special recognition went to our caregiver Chalinee Seebnauth who was overwhelmed to be the winner of The Care Newcomer Award. “I am speechless and feel honoured to have won this award. I would like to thank the management team at Home Care Preferred for nominating me and everyone that made this possible”.

The Care Innovator Award:

This award recognised the person who has shown exceptional entrepreneurial skills in identifying, developing, implementing and establishing a new service. The Managing Director of Home Care Preferred, Ken Waterhouse, was among the nominees. “I am proud of what my team and I have achieved. It is very pleasing that people in our sector, and the wider community recognises the benefits of a service that provides a complete solution for those who wish to remain in their own homes”.

The Care Employer Award:

This award seeks to acknowledge and celebrate employers’ commitment to care and how this is achieving success in delivering an excellent service. Home Care Preferred were pleased to be nominated for this prestigious award “we strive each day to provide a fulfilling and happy working environment for our team and being short listed for this award brings us further inspiration” Ken Waterhouse.

The Care Manager Award:

“I am thrilled to be nominated again for the Registered Home Care Manager award. I would like to thank the Home Care Preferred team for believing that I deserve this nomination” Nav Dhar, 2014.

The Dementia in Care Award:

The Home Care Preferred team was nominated for the award which recognises and reflects on the specific skills needed to manage and deliver services sensitive to the needs of older people with dementia.

Health Investor Awards 2015 & 2016 – Domiciliary Care Provider of the Year

Over the last 11 years, Health Investor has established itself as the must-read magazine covering the UK health sector. They launched their awards in 2006, as the best way of promoting excellence and recognising innovation in the sector.

Home Care Preferred are both proud and delighted to have been runners up in the Domiciliary Care Provider of the Year category two years in a row.
