A huge passion for helping children plus a can do attitude equals National Recognition and Growing Success for Magical Maths Nottinghamshire!

Tim Ford, owner of Magical Maths Nottinghamshire, got his 6 week summer holiday off to a great start when (during on a family holiday in the South of France!) he found out that he had won our National Award for Franchisee of the Year 2016.

Tim knew before joining the franchise that he wanted a business that made a real difference to the lives of children and as his son had been to the Magical Maths clubs himself, he knew first hand as a parent, just how amazing the clubs were!

Since he joined Magical Maths back in June 2015 he’s worked with dozens of different primary schools, which is a huge achievement for his first year with no previous business experience. This year, Tim has worked with children from all over the region and is expecting to work with thousands more over the next 12 months!

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my first full year bringing Magical Maths to Primary Schools across Nottinghamshire. It’s unbelievably rewarding when parents, pupils and school staff take the time to say or write that they have benefited from the way we have delivered the club. That’s a huge compliment to the Magical Maths Head Office support team who have helped me across the year. I’m very excited for the future and look to help build a long term relationship with every school, parent and child we work with.” – Tim Ford, Franchisee of the Year 2016

The award also recognises the great attitude and dedication that the franchisee has shown building their business. Tim has built fantastic relationships with the local community and with the help of the Magical Maths award winning marketing, he’s made a real impact on the schools across Nottinghamshire.

What impact has Magical Maths made?

“Both my girls have been so excited and enthusiastic about each session. I have been really impressed by the enjoyment (whilst learning!!!) that they have both had each week. Thank you – it is definitely a 10 out of 10 for us.”

– Parent from Jesse Gray Primary School, Nottinghamshire

“We were very happy to rebook Magical Maths, especially after seeing such detailed and positive evaluations from the parents. I also recommended you to other Primary Schools in our trust and forwarded your details to them.”

– Margaret Williams, Head Teacher at The Good Shepherd Catholic Primary Academy, Nottingham

His drive and commitment to great customer service means that his business is going from strength to strength and he’s able to spend quality time with his family whilst the business runs smoothly.

“Tim is extremely hard working and has achieved some amazing things. A prime example of what a franchisee can achieve with the right attitude and I hope that we get many more franchisees like him over the coming months and years!”
