Super-mum Michelle leads the way for SureCare Rugby & North Warwickshire

SureCare franchisees come from all walks of life, each with their own individual reasons and driving factors for wanting to make a difference in their community.

Michelle Sparkes, SureCare Rugby & North Warwickshire

With the company branching out further and further across the country, we’re fascinated by the personal stories behind our franchise operators. And stories don’t come much more personal than the operator of SureCare services in Rugby & North Warwickshire, Michelle Sparkes.

Michelle has had first-hand experience of the need for dedicated care on a daily basis, having taken care of her son Adam for many years. Adam lives with a number of disabilities and requires regular support, which can make day-to-day life fairly difficult without a little extra help.

In the past, Michelle has often relied upon home care companies for respite, but has seen varying standards in the service she and her son have received over the years. This has made it difficult to secure consistent levels of care, and has become the driving force for leading the way in her own business in the care industry.

Hoping to make a real difference in the local community, Michelle made the decision to run her own home care business, and we’re proud to welcome her to the SureCare network. Having previously worked as a business development manager in the auto industry, we have high hopes that she can transfer and apply the acquired business skills to the job.

Michelle has successfully gained registration with the Care Quality Commission and will lead a team of management staff and care workers, along with the help of her partner Derek Brook. Their acquired experience and knowledge of personal care in their own home life will certainly add to the quality of services seen across the region.

By combining all of these elements, this local SureCare franchise is all set to provide quality care services to residents across Rugby and North Warwickshire.
