Right at Home Bournemouth and Poole is named 2019 Homecare Provider of the Year

Homecare company Right at Home Bournemouth and Poole has been named Homecare Provider of the Year at The Bournemouth Daily Echo’s 2019 Proud to Care Awards.

Right at Home Bournemouth and Poole has been operating since October 2012. The company provides high-quality care and support to people who wish to continue living independently in the comfort of their own home. It offers a wide range of person-centred services, from companionship, medication reminders and personal care, through to specialist dementia care and 24-hour live-in care.

Helen Garland, Registered Manager of Right at Home Bournemouth Poole – and also Woman Franchise Employee of the Year at the national NatWest EWIF (Encouraging Women into Franchising) Awards which took place earlier this year – collected the award alongside Care Coordinator Stacey Bridle and Senior Carers Sharon Young and Jennene Garnett at an awards ceremony held on 14th November 2019 at the Marsham Court Hotel.

Right at Home Bournemouth and Poole Owner, Andrew Davis, commented: “This award win wouldn’t be possible without our fantastic team of CareGivers who have a shared passion for delivering the best possible care and support. As a team, we strive to improve Clients’ quality of life and really make a difference every day, so it’s great to see this hard work being recognised and celebrated in our community. I hope awards like this help dispel many of the negative stories around social care and encourage caring, compassionate people to take it up as a career.”

As well as being recognised for its exceptional quality care, the service was named a 5* employer following its annual employee satisfaction survey run by independent research company, WorkBuzz in April.
