EweMove flock growing thanks to continues franchise success

Another franchisee success story for EweMove as its branch in South Manchester increase their sales and lettings portfolio by 337% in just 12 months.

EweMove Cheadle Hulme, which opened in January 2017 and is run by Matt and Andrea Markham, is celebrating its first 18 months in business as well as its recent acquisition of a comprehensive lettings portfolio – and opening of an additional branch – in Wilmslow which has accelerated its lettings offer.

With fierce competition across one of the region’s most desirable locations, EweMove Cheadle Hulme has gone from strength to strength with an increase of 337% across its sales portfolio between June 2017 and June 2018. EweMove has also established a strong lettings portfolio following its acquisition of Martin & Co in Wilmslow in March 2018.

Matt Markham, Branch Director of both EweMove branches, explained: “We have over 10 years’ experience working in property and conveyancing, and launched Cheadle Hulme last January having been drawn to the brand’s innovative approach and comprehensive marketing, systems and processes. Thanks to our early success in growing the brand and our portfolio, we also identified an opportunity to expand our reach within surrounding Wilmslow and acquired a lettings portfolio which has boosted the business’s growth.

“The areas are both highly sought after and there are many independent and national estate and lettings agencies already operating here, so we’re absolutely thrilled to have entered the market when we did and to be welcomed into the towns in this way.

“What’s particularly surprising for us ‘newbies’ is how well received the quirky EweMove brand has been with customers and the local public, particularly as it does very much stand out in contrast to the more traditional agencies. We’re very much looking forward to continuing to grow our branches in the years to come, helping more local buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants move in the area,” Matt concluded.
