Dwyer Group pledges to stay in UK despite uncertainty of Brexit

Banbury, UK (2 July 2018).  The Dwyer Group, one of the world’s largest parent companies of home service brands, has pledged its commitment to strengthen and grow its presence here in the UK by significantly investing in both its infrastructure and people in the Banbury and Manchester offices.

Dwyer Group UK,  which represents five franchise brands in the UK (Aire Serv®, Bright & Beautiful®, Countrywide Grounds Maintenance®, Drain Doctor® and Mr. Electric®), relocated its corporate Head Office to Banbury, Oxfordshire from Peterborough in a move to be more centrally located with good transport connectivity for its staff and network of over 150 franchise businesses.

The Manchester office has also expanded following the acquisitions of Countrywide Grounds Maintenance and Bright & Beautiful last year, adding more than 100 new franchisees to the UK network.

Both offices have been renovated with a substantial investment in state of the art computer technology to improve both business efficiency and communication for its staff, franchisees and customers.  The organisation has also committed to investing in its own people as well as the community it serves and is focused on being the premier provider of services for repairing, maintaining and enhancing customers’ homes and businesses.

Jeff Meyers, Vice President of International Operations at the Dwyer Group, comments: “Following the recent acquisition of The Dwyer Group UK by Harvest Partners, we are now in a position to strengthen and grow our franchising business here in the UK and the investment we have made to our offices and staff is testament to that. The relocation of our UK Head Office to Banbury is an exciting new progressive development for us and the geographical location was a critical factor for our rapidly expanding team of staff, franchisees and customers.

“The diversity of our services is a real asset for the Dwyer Group UK in the current business climate and our new office will enable us to provide even higher levels of customer service excellence for our franchise business owners, as well as giving us room for even further expansion with increases in staff levels.”

The Dwyer Group has a strong code of values and this has been the foundation for its success for 37 years.  Not only have these values attracted strong employers and franchisees, it serves as the glue that keeps its culture special and it also helps to attract the right team members and franchisees to the organisation.
