Radfield Home Care welcomes a new franchise in Camberley

Radfield Home Care has welcomed its latest franchise partner into its network, launching a new office in the Camberley area.

With over 10 years experience working as a registered care manager for a national home care brand, Richard Gordon has considered launching his own care business for a number of years and has decided now is the right time to invest his wealth of experience and knowledge in the Camberley, Farnborough & Fleet territory.

Like many of us have experienced, the coronavirus pandemic brought about many changes and a new outlook for Richard, which cemented his decision to launch his own business:

“I’d considered taking the next step for 2-3 years, which seemed like a natural progression from my role as a registered care manager. But whilst being at the forefront during the coronavirus outbreak in 2020; reacting to changes, implementing protective measures and working with community partners more than ever to ensure client and staff safety, my passion to offer my own service to my local community became stronger than ever,” he explains.

“I decided to go down the franchising route so I could benefit from the strength of an established brand, whilst remaining a locally run business. Radfield stood out to me due to its innovative systems which promote a more streamlined way of managing care, the sense of family as well as strong team ethic within the brand.”

Richard will be launching his Radfield Home Care business at an exciting time as the brand invests heavily in expanding its franchise support team, trialling new technology services and developing new income streams. All of which will help franchise partners achieve even greater returns, client satisfaction and carer wellbeing.

Franchisor, Dr Hannah MacKechnie comments: “We are really excited to welcome Richard into the network and expand our presence into the Hampshire and Surrey regions. The last 12 months have really highlighted how great the care industry is to operate in – from a business security perspective, but also from a personal perspective, as it has been extremely satisfying to be able to play our role in the response to the coronavirus pandemic. Richard is one of many people who have recognised this and is taking the steps to not only change his life, but also that of people in the community around him.”

Whilst Richard comes from a care background, prior experience in the sector is not required to launch a Radfield Home Care franchise. The franchise support team works with you to recruit the healthcare expertise required to operate a high quality care service, whilst you drive business growth through marketing and networking activities that generate client enquiries and carer applications.
