RaH Franchisees talk business at regional Directors Tables events

Communication is key to a successful franchise operation, and Right at Home’s directors have recently introduced a new format of face-to-face meetings with each of the 50+ local owners in their network.

The twice-yearly Directors’ Tables events see CEO, Ken Deary, and Group Operations Director, Lucy Campbell, hosting a week of regional get-togethers.

As well as listening to franchisees’ feedback and discussing business developments in a group, there are options for private meetings, and a training session, which this time focused on sharing best practice in local community engagement.

Ken Deary, himself formerly an award-winning franchisee with McDonald’s, said: “The Directors’ Tables meeting form an important part of our commitment to being approachable and responsive. We love having that direct dialogue with the business owners, hearing what is working well and discussing how we can best support them with any challenges they’re facing.”

Franchisees are given the opportunity to raise any issues they’re having, and to bring suggestions to the table. In turn Ken and Lucy take the opportunity to update them on key developments and opportunities that are relevant to the sector and business.

Lucy added: “We pride ourselves on running a really transparent operation, that is founded upon open and honest communication. The Directors’ Tables are just one element of our wider communication strategy, and they are event that Ken and I really enjoy, as we have a brilliant network of franchisees and it’s a pleasure to spend time with them.”
