Top franchise award for Driver Hire

Driver Hire Nationwide has been named the UK’s top franchise at the bfa HSBC Franchise Awards 2019, held in Birmingham at the end of June. 

Driver Hire, the leading transport & logistics franchise, collected Gold in the Franchisor of the Year category. This is the second time Driver Hire has won the most prestigious award in the UK franchise industry.

The judges highlighted the company’s consistent excellence in franchising over many years, and appreciated, “an enviable training programme and onboarding process, as well as committing £3 million in technology in just three years to help the network thrive.”

There was a further reason for celebration, with Ed Pockney, owner of Driver Hire Uxbridge, collecting the bfa HSBC 2019 Franchisee of the Year award in the Business Transformation category. Ed has taken his franchise to a regular place in Driver Hire’s top 20, having increased turnover six-fold in under five years
