X-Press Legal Services’ first in-person CPD event is a great success!

X-Press Legal Services North Cheshire, Merseyside and Manchester was delighted to again be able to host an in-person CPD event; the first one since 2019.  The event, held at Haydock Park, was a great success – welcoming 26 solicitors and conveyancing professionals.

Attendees had the pleasure of learning from Stephen Desmond, Legal Trainer and Author. Stephen delivered a training session on ‘Hot topics in leasehold conveyancing’, discussing a whole host of issues including the new Leasehold Reform Bill, latest developments on fire and building safety, and the Law Commission’s Residential Leasehold project.

Throughout the pandemic, X-Press Legal Services pivoted their approach to CPD training, moving their planned sessions online due to restrictions. Well-received by the network, their initial online events attracted as many as 300 attendees! Due to their popularity, X-Press continued to host an exciting schedule throughout the past 18 months, keeping their network and client base updated and informed.

Thanks to the overwhelmingly positive response to their online CPD sessions, X-Press is continuing to embrace both online and in-person training sessions.

Jane Lister of X-Press Legal Services North Cheshire, Merseyside and Manchester commented: “It was brilliant to be joined by local solicitors and conveyancing professionals for our latest CPD event. It was great to be back in person, networking and learning about key developments in the sector.

“We understand the importance of continual training in the sector, and are pleased to be able to offer these sessions to our network.”

X-Press Legal Services run many CPD events throughout the year across England and Wales, organised by their local franchisees. These events allow solicitors to continue their professional development through CPD accredited courses, but also give them time to socialise, network, catch up with fellow industry professionals and enjoy a day away from the office!

For franchisees, CPD events are great ways to network and build a client base. To find out more about X-Press Legal Services’ franchise opportunity, visit their profile >>
