Ci Gusta Reggio Emilia brings Emilian tradition to the heart of the Middle East

We are thrilled to share our recent participation in GulfHost 2024, one of the most prestigious hospitality and food service events, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from November 5 to 7. Being present at this international fair was a unique opportunity for us to showcase the tradition and flavours of Italian cuisine in one of the most dynamic and expanding regions in the world: the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

GulfHost 2024 serves as a key meeting point for exhibitors from over 30 countries, offering an excellent platform to discover the latest food service innovations. Over three days, we had the chance to connect with numerous top industry professionals, from international consultants and Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) leaders to major retailers and culinary experts. This event allowed us to share our vision and products with a global audience, paving the way for strategic partnerships and future opportunities for expansion.

After this experience, we are more motivated than ever to explore these emerging markets, where interest in Italian cuisine is growing every year. Bringing the authentic flavours of our land and our hometown, Reggio Emilia, to these regions—through our recipes made with genuine ingredients, from artisan gelato to both sweet and savoury specialties—is a project that deeply excites us.

Our participation in GulfHost was a significant step, not only in introducing our products but also in establishing ourselves as ambassadors of Italian culinary culture. Thanks to this experience, we have laid the groundwork for possible expansion in Middle Eastern and Asian markets, with the goal of bringing Ci Gusta and the tradition of Reggio Emilia to the world, remaining faithful to our mission: to offer the authentic taste of Italy in every corner of the globe.
