Anytime Fitness Case Study
After working in the pharmaceutical, business and property industries, John Deviln decided to make a career change.
Determined to be his own boss, and the maker of his own success, John began to research the franchise industry. He explains: “I first considered a franchise solution because I wanted to make a long term investment. Having worked in various industries before, I saw there were a range of opportunities available to me, but none that I was really passionate about.”
Deciding to visit a bfa-approved franchise exhibition that year, John was able to explore in more detail the wide range of industries and businesses available, as well as meet with key franchise experts to gain advice.
Having always enjoyed an active life, and being a gym enthusiast, John instantly clicked with the Anytime Fitness team. “After speaking with the franchise team at Anytime Fitness, I became really excited at the opportunity of starting a business in an area I felt truly passionate about.”
Less than a year later, John Devlin opened his first club in Urmston near Manchester, which now already has 800 members.
