Papa John’s Swansea Franchisee is Hungry For Success

Leading pizza franchise, Papa John’s, has announced the opening of its Swansea store.

New franchisee, Umar Malik, recorded a very successful first weeks’ trading and, hungry for success, now plans to open six more franchised stores within the next two years.

“In 2006, while studying for my Business degree, I worked as a pizza delivery driver for a rival firm and thought that one day I could own my own pizza business,” explains Umar Malik.

“I discovered Papa John’s through some online research and loved the idea that the fresh dough and better ingredients create a better flavour and pizza. I wanted to have confidence and pride in the product I sell and so knew Papa John’s was for me!

“In-fact the product does half the work for me!” continues Umar. “I’ve worked in the industry on and off for a while and never seen repeat business like it! The same customers just keep coming back for more! Building this kind of customer loyalty over time will be a key differentiator for my franchise.

“To fund the purchase of the Swansea store, I used savings and a business bank loan from Lloyds,” confirms Umar. “Lloyds were familiar with the Papa John’s concept and trusted the brand so funding was no problem. The Company’s robust systems and support from head office has enabled me to focus on quality and service and I am now proud to say, within a short space of time, I employ 27 people at one of the busiest pizza outlets in the region. I am looking to repeat that success with more openings soon!”

Papa John’s is growing and is looking for other enthusiastic franchisees to become part of its success story and is currently offering incentives for new stores opening in Wales, The Midlands, North East, The North West and Scotland.

Papa John’s is one of the largest pizza companies in the world and has opportunities for franchisees throughout the UK. To learn more about the Papa John’s franchise please visit our FranchiseInfo profile page.
