Work under way on Jackson Fire and Security’s new training facility
Work under way on Jackson Fire & Security’s new training facility Construction work has started on our on-site training facility, which will allow us to deliver NVQ qualifications in-house to keep our technicians at the forefront of industry standards.
The dedicated training room will make us one of the first in the fire and security industry to provide specialist training and education in-house to our employees.
The £30,000 training centre, which will be fully operational in December 2015, will be kitted out with the latest fire and security systems and products.
Our technicians will be able to work and practise on a range of systems, including uncommon makes and models, to ensure they can efficiently deal with even the trickiest of faulty systems.
Construction will last for four weeks, with a further eight weeks set aside to gain the necessary accreditation to deliver NVQ qualifications.
Tim Fletcher, Director at Jackson Fire & Security, said: “It’s been an ambition of ours to set up an on-site training centre so that we can ensure our technicians offer the best service.
“All the technicians across our six branches will be given access to both practical and theoretical training and qualifications.
“Our goal is to provide unparalleled customer service and expertise such as fixing issues within the first 60 minutes of arriving at the premises, and this dedicated training facility will help us to achieve this.”
